Temple, along with former UConn Husky Stanley Robinson, will be added to the RGV roster the day after the finale of a 2-game sweep at the hands of the Austin Toros.

Thursday, November 26, 2009  The Rio Grande Valley Vipers jumped out to a 36-23 first quarter lead, but the Austin Toros outscored the Vipers 60-39 over the next two quarters to beat the Vipers in a pre-season contest, 101-98, tonight at the South Padre Island Convention Center.

Meanwhile, the Vipers had to play shorthanded in Austin, and came up one point short in the next-to-last road game of the year for the Valley's D-League team.
