After selling one of his Lone Star Football League franchises, the Laredo Rattlesnakes, to a Laredo doctor, Rio Grande Valley Magic owner Chad Dittman is now looking for a local co-owner in the Valley to help with finances. Dittman hopes his arena co-tenants, the Rio Grande Valley Vipers NBA D-League team, will be willing and able to provide that help.

Wide Receiver Danny Young caught six touchdown passes and had 158 receiving yards to propel the Rio Grande Valley Magic to victory over the Amarillo Venom 74-73 on Saturday night at the Amarillo Civic Center. With the victory, the Magic improve to 5-2 on the season while Amarillo falls to 3-4.
