  • Harlingen Moves Up To #11 In New AP Poll, Abilene In At #18

    Monday, October 31, 2011  The Harlingen Cardinals received more AP poll votes than anytime previously during the season, but not enough to get into the top ten, sitting just outside at 11th in the state in class 5A. Abilene, a team Harlingen beat in week 3 of the season, won their district over the weekend, and received 2 votes, putting the Eagles at 18th.

    Monday, September 26, 2011  The new Texas AP high school football poll is out, and once more, no Valley teams received votes for being among the top ten in the state in their classification.
