Thursday, March 01, 2012  Donna athletics is undergoing a major facelift, with new turf at Bennie Le Prade Stadium, and a new field house that has been dedicated to the coach of the 1961 2A state champion Redskins, Earl Scott. The facility will also house the teams of the new Donna North HS Chiefs, as well.

Wednesday, November 02, 2011  On the week Donna celebrated their 1961 2A state championship football team, the Redskins fell one Matthew Kaufmann touchdown short to McAllen Memorial, but Manny Moreno's team still controls their playoff destiny.

Monday, December 13, 2010  Four football players from Santa Rosa made the Texas 2A All-State Football Teams, including one Warrior who was selected for the second team defense.

Wednesday, October 28, 2009  The UIL voted  to have state championship football games at predetermined sites in all classifications starting next year. Also, Class 2A will be split into large-school and small-school divisions before the season starts.
