CHICAGO, IL -- Chicagobears.com, while noting the many Texas-born and bred coaches and players on the Chicago Bears roster, has a great story about the Valley's own Roberto Garza. I wonder if the Marine recruiter who tried to talk Rob out of playing college football ever watches him now?

There's a great line from Anthony Munoz to Tony Casillas to Roberto Garza of Hispanic offensive linemen who were an inspiration to one another, and it continues today with D-1 players like Los Fresnos alum Mario Benavides at Louisville, and his Falcon teammate Eloy Atkinson at UTEP.

Back to Rob, I know he had to call in a lot of favors this week. He requested over 200 tickets to Sunday's game for friends and family, as well as for the two winners of his essay contest sponsored by Action 4 this past summer.
