A Donna family is homeless after a Wednesday morning fire gutted their home.

It all happened at a home off Juarez Avenue and Torreon Street just south of Donna city limits on Wednesday morning.

Donna firefighters told Action 4 News that the fire started in kitchen where a woman was preparing breakfast for her family.

No injuries were reported but the fire completely gutted the home.

The family told Action 4 News that the blaze left them with nothing.
