A feature film is being made about Brownsville chess players.
The director and producer of the upcoming film, “The End Game” are looking for local talent.
The movie is based on a true story about a Brownsville chess team, specifically a middle school boy, who embarks on a journey of self discovery and success.
The producers have already reached out to major stars to play the lead roles, but are still looking to fill many other parts.
The open auditions will be held at the Camille Playhouse in Brownsville on Saturday and Sunday.
Auditions begin at 10 a.m. and will end at 8 p.m.
