A Edinburg man is behind bars after authorities raided a home allegedly being used by the Vallucos prison gang to stash marijuana.

Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office deputies raided the Lemon Drive home over the weekend.

Investigators told Action 4 News that deputies received a tip that the gang was using the home as a stash house.

Deputies arrested homeowner Juan Carlos Garcia after they allegedly found 66.8 pounds of marijuana and a shotgun.

Garcia remains behind bars under possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon charges.
