Authorities are searching for the suspect in a Christmas Eve bank robbery that took place in Palmview.

It all happened at the La Joya Area Federal Credit Union off South Bentsen Palm Drive after 9:30 a.m. Monday.

Palmview police said the suspect displayed a handgun got away with an undetermined amount of cash.

The only evidence the man left behind was a shirt and a cap on Business 83.

Other Valley agencies have been notified and put on alert.
