The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating a car accident involving several illegal immigrants.

The two-car accident happened around 2 p.m. on Saturday west of Sullivan City.

A black Ford Explorer collided with an Astro Van.

Nine illegal were taken into custody and several others were taken to the hospital.

All the illegal immigrants were inside the Explorer.

Their nationalities are not known at this time.

No one is reported dead.
