Action 4 News has teamed up with 710 KURV AM and the Rio Grande Guardian to post unedited copies of the political forums for Texas State Representative District 39 and District 41.

The candidates for State Representative Districts 39 and 41 faced off during a LIVE televised political forum at the Weslaco Business-Visitors & Events Center on Thursday evening.

Democrat Bobby Guerra will face Republican Miriam Martinez for the District 41 to answer questions.

District 39 incumbent Armando "Mando" Martinez (D-Weslaco) will go up against Republican challenger Joel De Los Santos at 6 p.m. Thursday.
