Teen fist fight ends with stabbing in Weslaco

Authorities are investigating a Weslaco knife fight that ended with both the victim and suspect in the hospital.
Weslaco police it all happened off Pike Boulevard and Border Avenue near Weslaco High School around 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
Investigators said officers were called out for a fight but didn't find anything when they got there.
Minutes later, a 17-year-old student arrived at Weslaco's Knapp Medical Center with a knife wound to his chest.
Investigators said that the 16-year-old suspect also showed up at the hospital with injures.
None of the injuries are considered life-threatening.
Weslaco police believe the two were involved in a fist fight but the 16-year-old pulled out a knife and stabbed the 17-year-old.
Investigators are still trying to sort out the details but believe as many as three or four boys were at the scene.
