Authorities are investigating the cause of a Friday night accident between a motorcycle and a car in Harlingen.

The accident happened in the intersection of East Harrison Avenue and Commerce Street just before 10 p.m. Friday.

It’s not clear how the accident happened but investigators said the accident involves a car and a motorcycle.

The driver of the motorcycle did not appear to have major injuries.

Paramedics took him to a local hospital for evaluation.
