A crime stoppers tip led to police to a stash house with more than 300 pounds of marijuana in San Juan.

It all happened at a home on the 200 block of Ebano Drive just blocks after 2:15 p.m .Monday.

Investigators told Action 4 News that officers raided the home, which is located just blocks from the San Juan Police Department.

San Juan police reported finding at least 318 pounds of marijuana inside one of the bedroom closets.

Police said the home was a typical stash house, with no furniture and only an air mattress for a man allegedly working as a caretaker.

An illegal immigrant from Mexico found inside the home is being held for questioning.
