Authorities are investigating a Wednesday afternoon auto accident involving a Mission police patrol unit.

It all happened off Business 83 between Scott Lane and Schuerbach Road around 3 p.m. Wednesday.

Investigators told Action 4 News that the patrol unit was assigned to a funeral procession.

Mission police said the patrol car involved in a minor auto accident with another vehicle but a slow speed.

No injuries were reported but police said the patrol car has been pulled from service for now.
