Authorities are investigating reports that a man was kidnapping from a hamburger stand in a rural area of Hidalgo County.

It all happened near Bentsen Palm Drive and Mile 6 1/2 North around 6 p.m. Friday.

Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office deputies told Action 4 News that a witness called to say he saw a man get kidnapped outside the restaurant.

Deputies are patrolling the area looking for the alleged kidnapping victim and the suspects but with no results.
