A Saturday morning rollover accident caused stop light outages across major Edinburg intersections.

A Chevy pickup truck crashed into a power post, causing it to completely break in half.

The accident happened at 7:45 a.m. on the 1200 block of S. McColl.

The driver was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

Crews have McColl from Sprague to Freddy Gonzalez closed off.

They are working to restore the power to the stop lights in the area.

Edinburg police have put temporary stop signs at the intersections.

The power outage did not affect residents in the area.
