New details are being released about an early home invasion that may be related to the missing victim from the bullet-riddled truck found outside of Roma.
On Wednesday around 4:30 a.m., four armed men broke into a home in the Garcenio area north of FM 649.
The home is reported to belong to the girlfriend of the man who is considered the “missing” victim from the abandoned truck.
The girlfriend did not tell authorities about the break-in until Thursday morning.
Investigators believe the victim may have been inside the home at the time of the invasion.
The abandoned pickup truck was found Wednesday evening off of Lopez and Martinez Streets.
The truck was full of bullet holes and blood.
No one was inside the truck and Starr County Sheriff’s Office deputies are still trying to find out who fired at the truck and who may have been driving it.
Action 4 News will provide more information as it becomes available.
