More than $1.1 million dollars worth of cocaine are off the streets after authorities found it inside a Reynosa woman's car.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) arrested the 20-year-old woman at the Pharr International Bridge on July.

Investigators told Action 4 News that the woman drove up from Reynosa in a Ford Focus.

Customs officers sent her car to secondary inspection where authorities allegedly found 15 packages with 36.4 pounds of cocaine hidden inside.

Authorities seized the drugs and charged the woman with drug smugggling.
