A Brownsville man is behind bars after authorities found cocaine and 161 ecstasy pills inside his SUV and house.

Brownsville police arrested 20-year-old Damian De Los Reyes on possession of a controlled substance charges on Friday afternoon.

Investigators told Action 4 News that a K-9 officer pulled over De Los Reyes’ Ford Expedition on Padre Island Highway.

Officers allegedly found ecstasy pills inside the SUV.

Authorities went to De Los Reyes’ house where officers allegedly found a small amount of cocaine and more ecstasy pills.

Police reported a total of 161 ecstasy pills were seized from both the home and SUV.

De Los Reyes appeared before a Brownsville municipal court judge on Saturday where he was issued $60,000 in bonds.

As of Tuesday morning, De Los Reyes remains in custody at the Cameron County Jail.
