An early Saturday morning pursuit ended with a rollover accident in Weslaco.

Weslaco police officers responded to a call at 3 a.m. to help Donna PD chase a pick-up truck traveling westbound on Expressway 83.

In mid-pursuit, the suspect’s car crashed and rolled over around the 700 block of the expressway.

The driver got out of the vehicle and fled on foot, but was later caught by Weslaco PD.

He was taken to Knapp Medical Center for injuries from the accident.

The man is expected to face numerous charges once he is released from the hospital.
