Two men are facing criminal charges after being arrested for selling alcohol to minors during an undercover sting.

Harlingen police arrested 24-year-old Hugo Navarro and 30-year-old Marco Rene Luna on Saturday.

Investigators told Action 4 News that both men were arrested as part of an going sting operation to prevent the sale of alcohol to minors.

Police said Navarro sold a six-pack of beer to an undercover minor at the Dollar General store off 2312 Stuart Place Road at 9:05 a.m. Saturday.

Investigators said Luna sold a 32-ounce beer to an undercover minor at the H-E-B supermarket off Commerce Street at 10:15 a.m. Saturday.

Both men appeared before a Harlingen municipal judge on Sunday morning where they were each issued $1,500 dollars in bonds.
