A man was sent to the hospital after a robber hit him in the head with a baseball bat.

The robbery took place east of FM 493 on 11 ½ Mile Road near Donna around 3 a.m. Saturday morning.

A man approached the driver of a silver 300 Chrysler and hit him in the head.

The robber took off with the victim’s car, wallet and cash.

The suspect is reported to be thin built, has a mustache and was last seen wearing a striped shirt.

Deputies took the victim to the seek medical help and his condition remains unknown.
