January rollover crash result of driving under the influence

Efren-Ernesto Moreno was arrested after medical testing proved he was driving under the influence and responsible for the car accident that killed Mary Ann Zapata January 14, 2012.
Medical reports notified troopers that Moreno not only had alcohol in his system at the time of the accident, but marijuana, cocaine and amphetamines as well.
Moreno and Mary Ann Zapata were traveling on State Highway 4 in Brownsville when their vehicle rolled over and crashed.
A trooper and medical units responded to the scene where Zapata was unresponsive and Moreno sustained injuries to his left shoulder.
She was transported to Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville and pronouced dead.
Moreno first told officers he had not been drinking before the accident.
He later confessed at the hospital to not only having two alcoholic beverages, but using marijuana and taking cocaine at a family gathering prior to the accident.
Moreno is being charged with Intoxication Manslaughter and Intoxication Assault.
His bond is set at $60,000.
