What’s not the menu this week in Food 4 Thought - rodents and roaches!

Rudy’s Meat Market in Raymondville was busted with fresh and old rodent droppings during a health inspection.

The butcher cut off the Food Patrol during an interview about the contamination.

He pointed a filet knife in his hand at the camera and demanded the Food Patrol leave.

In McAllen, a roach infestation led to the temporary closure of Taqueria El Zarape on North 23rd Street in McAllen.

But the dirtiest kitchen this week was in Brownsville.

Isabella’s Restaurant scored 41 demerits!
