Brownsville police are looking for three young people after they stole an Action 4 News microphone minutes before a live television broadcast.

It all happened outside Cummings Middle School around 6 p.m. Wednesday.

An Action 4 News crew was there to broadcast live for about the shooting death of 15-year-old student Jaime Gonzalez.

Three young people approached the Action 4 News van a stole a microphone that was going to be used during a live television broadcast.

Luckiliy, the crew had a spare microphone but the stolen one is worth more than $700 dollars.

Brownsville police are at the scene and looking for the teens.
