A gang member accused of burglarizing Winter Texan parks in the La Feria area may have fled to Mexico.

Action 4 News reported that the Cameron County Pct. 7 Constable's Office was looking for Ever Sagaon-Melchor back in September.

The alleged gang member from Mexico is accused of breaking into several RVs, stealing thousands of dollars worth of items and even selling a car he stole from the scene.

Investigators told Action 4 News that Border Patrol agents arrested Sagaon-Melchor's brother near the rural Cameron County community of Santa Maria last week.

The brother is facing illegal immigration charges and deportation but refused to cooperate with investigators.

Authorities are still searching for Sagaon-Melchor but are not sure if he's still in the Rio Grande Valley or fled to Mexico.
