A Brownsville man is behind bars after he allegedly had a sexual relationship with runaway teen.

Brownsville police arrested 30-year-old Jesus Cortinas De Leon on a sexual assault Monday morning.

Investigators told Action 4 News that officers found a 15-year-old runaway girl at De Leon’s home.

De Leon allegedly confirmed that he and the girl had a relationship and that they had been intimate.

The Brownsville man appeared before a municipal judge on Wednesday morning where he was issued a $20,000 dollar bond.
