Rocky The Beaver is still on the loose in Edcouch.

City workers continue to patrol a local drainage ditch searching for the reclusive rodent.

They told Action 4 News that the closest they've come to catching him is on camera.

Edcouch Director of Public Works David Alaniz has a picture of 'Rocky.'

He said despite 'Rocky's' ability to evade them, he's not giving up.

Alaniz said once they catch Rocky, they plan to move him to a safe environment miles away from their drainage ditch.
