Tropical Storm Don may have been Tropical Storm Dud, but the tropics aren't giving up just yet.

Spinning out in the tropics right now are three tropical waves.

One in the Caribbean, one in the Atlantic,  just east of the Leeward Islands, and another moving off the West African coast.

Investigation area 91 is the main focus as it could become Tropical Storm Emily within the next 48 hours and could become our first major hurricane of the season.

Most of the  forecast models indicate it will stay to the left of the Leeward island and head up the Eastern Seaboard.

However, there are some models that show this storm heading into the Gulf of Mexico.

All have the potential to head towards the Valley as they move towards the west.
