Two people are behind bars and a kidnapping victim is safe after being rescued by Tamaulipas State Police in Rio Bravo.

The Tamaulipas Attorney General’s Office (PGJE) reported the incident on Wednesday afternoon.

PGJE officials said they had received a report about a kidnapping in Rio Bravo and sent a team of police to find the victim.

Authorities found the victim and arrested two suspects.

The suspects were identified as Carla Sorayda Martinez-Lozoya and Carlos Enrique Ramirez-Rosendo.

The two kidnapping have been handed over to officials for prosecution.
