Two Harlingen men are behind after police found more than 800 pirate DVDs just a few blocks away from the police department building.
Harlingen police arrested 28-year-old Julio Cesar Sanchez and 34-year-old Pedro Salinas Jimenez on Sunday.
Investigators told Action 4 News that they were called to the 400 block of Lozano Street after receiving a complaint about loud music.
Officer arrived at a parking and found both Sanchez and Jimenez listening to music inside a grey Dodge Charger.
The officer saw a large number of DVDs in the backseat of the car.
Investigators said they counted a total of 852 pirate DVDs and charged the two with labeling unauthorized recording.
Both Salinas and Jimenez appeared before a Harlingen municipal judge on Monday morning where they were each issued a $10,000 dollar bond.
Under Texas state law, labeling unauthorized recording is a crime punishable from five years in jail and/or a $250,000 fine.
