The City of Brownsville and Healthy Communities of Brownsville kicked-off a curbside recycling pilot program. Dozens of volunteers distributed containers to about 200 Brownsville Saturday morning.

The pilot program will last three months. City commissioners will then evaluate the information gathered and decide if Brownsville will implement  curbside recycling permanently. Watch Action 4 News at 10 for more on this story.
