Hidalgo County Fire Marshalls are investigating two overnight fires in Hargill.

The Edinburg Fire Department says they suspect arson.

Edinburg Firefighters responded around 1:00 a.m. Wednesday.

They say two homes within one-thousand feet of each other were on fire.

One home is located on Wilson and FM 490.

The other home is located at Wilson and Fifth Street.

One was said to be destroyed.

Firefighters reportedly saved the other, confining damage to the wall and attic.
