Food 4 Thought - Restaurant with Customer Rules Breaks Health Rules

A touch of irony at one of this week’s featured low performer restaurants in McAllen.
Lin’s Grand Buffet on 420 E. Nolana Avenue has a list of rules for customers to follow hanging on the wall at the front door.
One of those rules includes: not wasting food.
But the Chinese food buffet has trouble of its own following health rules set forth by the City of McAllen.
The Food Patrol found Lin’s scored 25 demerits on a health report.
The violations included raw meats on top of produce, food products on the floor and live flies in the kitchen area.
Click on the video link to see what else was “not on the menu” in this week’s Food 4 Thought report.
