If you’re looking for a clean restaurant, you’re in luck.
Mexican, Japanese and Chinese food eateries are all in the top performer category this week for “keeping it clean!”
Restaurants that score zero demerits on a health inspection report earn a sticker from the Food Patrol.
Kumori on 400 Nolana Avenue in McAllen is one of them.
Blanca Martinez, a manager at Kumori’s, said the honor keeps in line with their promise to provide customers a safe and friendly environment to dine.
But not all restaurants are doing the safe and right thing in the kitchen.
Only the food patrol’s revealing “what’s not on the menu” at La Pesca on 524 West University Drive in Edinburg.
