The third named storm of the 2010 Atlantic Hurricane Season formed overnight Monday.
Tropical Storm Colin is heading west-northwest on a forecast track that would take it up the eastern coast of the United States.
If everything goes as planned, Colin would stay out of the Gulf of Mexico.
The 24/7 Weather Team is monitoring a tropical wave in the Caribbean Sea however.
The National Hurricane Center has given this wide area of disorganized showers and thunderstorms a slight chance of upgrading into a tropical cyclone by Thursday.
Early Tuesday morning, the wave was situated over the southeastern Caribbean and South America, moving west.
In the Valley, isolated showers are possible Tuesday.
