Francisco Javier Leal Junior is wanted by the McAllen Police Department for aggravated robbery, aggravated assault and robbery.

On March 31, 2010, Leal allegedly tried to steal a woman's purse on the 2100 block of W. Westway.

Investigators said Leal pushed the woman to the ground and several onlookers rushed over to help her.

According to police, Leal had a knife and started lashing out at the people who came to the woman's rescue.

Leal is described as a Hispanic man, 23 years old, five feet three inches tall and 160 pounds.
