Construction is underway to build a stand alone Chick-Fil-A restaurant next to Valle Vista Mall in Harlingen.

The Valley Morning Star reported that the restaurant is being built at the corner of Dixieland Road and West Lincoln Street.

The Harlingen-based newspaper reported that he stand-alone restaurant will seat 80 people.

The Valley Morning Star reported that construction for the will be completed by September 2010.

Action 4 News confirmed that the existing Chick-Fil-A restaurant inside the Valle Vista Mall food court will remain open.
