A 19-year-old man is recovering after being wounded during a Wednesday night driveby shooting in Pharr.

Investigators told Action 4 News that the incident happened at a home off the 1100 block of East Bell Avenue around 8:55 p.m. Wednesday.

Witnesses told police officers that several shots were fired at the house by several people inside a dark-colored passenger vehicle with chrome rims.

Pharr police told Action 4 News that 19-year-old Luis Rodriguez was only person injured in the driveby shooting.

Investigators said Rodriguez was shot in the ankle and had to be taken by paramedics to the McAllen Medical Center for treatment.

Authorities are trying to learn the identities of the supsects.
