Former Hidalgo County District Clerk Omar Guerrero is back in the spotlight.

Guerrero is expected to be arraigned under a harrassment charge at the Mission Police Department around 4 p.m. today.

Invsetigators told Action 4 News that Guerrero is accused of sending harassing text messages to a woman from Mission.

The former district clerk allegedly sent her messages saying things like, "I see you."

Guerrero is no stranger to controversy.

He had once been arrested for DWI and even once fled to Mexico to escape child sex abuse charges.
