A Florida murder suspect is headed back to the Sunshine State to face the music after being arrested in the Rio Grande Valley.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers arrested Luis Tobias Ledesma on Tuesday.

Customs officers told Action 4 News that the Ledesma walked up from Mexico at the Hidalgo-Reynosa International Bridge.

A database check revealed that the 50-year-old man had an arrest warrant for murder filed against him by the Miami-Dade Police Department.

Customs officers arrested Ledesma and turned him over the Hidalgo County Jail where he faces extradition back to Florida.

Public records show that Ledesma is from the Dominican Republic and that his last known address was in Homestead, Florida.

Dade County Jail records show that that had prior arrests for murder and kidnapping.
