PHARR, TEXAS -- Pharr Police announced Wednesday they are searching for a shooting suspect.

Just before 2 p.m. Wednesday, a man was shot in the 100 block of West Dicker.

The shooting victim, Pedro Deanda, 47, then drove himself to Dicker and Colorado and called an ambulance.

Witnesses later told police that Deanda had pulled into the driveway of a home to turn around, when a black Chevy Silverado pulled up next to him and began to shoot.

Deanda was struck several times.

He is currently at McAllen Medical Center.

The suspect vehicle was last seen going east on Dicker with two men inside.
