HARLINGEN, TEXAS -- A woman in Harlingen nearly drowned over the weekend at the Pendleton Park pool.

Parks and Recreation Superintendent Mike Jaramillo said Monday the woman was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

However, her condition is unknown at this time.

Jaramillo said his office is looking into what happened at the pool, and he will release more information when the investigation is complete.
