State troopers are investigating the cause of a fatal motorcycle accident that took place outside Monte Alto Wednesday morning.

Authorites told Action 4 News that the accident happened at the intersection of FM 1015 and FM 1422 after 7 a.m. Wednesday.

Texas Department of Public Safety state troopers are investigating the cause of the accident.

One man lost his life but authorities have not released his name.

He was riding a blue motorcycle.
