A 6-year-old Alto Bonito girl riding a bicycle was killed after being hit by a truck on Thursday.

Jessica Guadalupe Martinez died from her injuries.

Texas Department of Public Safety state troopers said Martinez was hit a by a Ford truck.

The case remains under investigation but troopers said the driver was a 15-year-old without a drivers license or permit.
