KGBT Chief Meteorologist Bryan Hale is using Twitter to send out forecasts, photos and extra weather information.

Twitter is a social networking website that easier to use than myspace or facebook.

It allows friends, family, and co–workers to communicate and stay connected through the exchange of quick, frequent answers to one simple question: What are you doing?

Viewers can follow Bryan Hale on his Twitter page or on their mobile phones using TwitterBerry or Twitter iPhone.

Bryan may be the only Rio Grande Valley meteorologist on Twitter but he has plenty of other company.

Action 4 News has its own Twitter page as does Action 4 News anchor Ryan Wolf and reporter Victor Castillo as do the City of McAllen and Hidalgo County.
