Dense fog turned to sunny skies as temperatures warm prepare to warm up for Friday.

The National Weather Service in Brownsville had issued a Dense Fog Advisory for the Rio Grande Valley early Friday morning.

But the fog disappeared in most areas of the Rio Grande Valley by 8 a.m. giving way to sunny skies.

Weather forecasts show that it's going to be a warm day in the Valley.

Temperatures are expected to reach the mid-80s during the day but then cool down to the 60s tonight.
