A man has been hospitalized after being shot in the face during a drive by shooting in Lopezville.

It all happened off Owassa and I Roads on Friday evening.

Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office deputies are investigating the shooting.

Investigators said it’s the is the second time the man has fallen victim to such a crime.

Authorities said the man shot was shot last week at the same location.

Deputies believe the shooting is gang related.

The man was last listed in stable but critical condition.
