Authorities spent Friday afternoon cleaning up an accident in Combes between a train and an 18-wheeler carrying raw sugar.

It all happened off Highway 107 and Business 77 before 2 p.m. Friday.

No injuries were reported but the impact of train knocked the 18-wheeler on its side spilling raw sugar on the streets.

Crews are working to clear the wreck while the cause of the accident remains under investigation.
